To do this, the player must make it through the train tunnel to Reindeer on foot, surviving all the enemies (4th-D Slip recommended), obtain Ana's hat at the Reindeer train station, continue on foot on the train tracks through Spookane, make it through the second tunnel, and then survive the Snowman enemies. The game progresses as normal with Ana, though it also makes the rest of the game easier as she learns her useful PSI quicker. It is not necessary to have Ana as a party member in order to finish the game.
