Known as the "Merc with a Mouth", is famous for his talkative nature and his tendency to "break the fourth wall", which is used by writers for humorous effect.
With his inclusion in Marvel vs. Capcom 3 his ability to break the fourth wall has been taken to a whole new level. The character would become significantly more popular after the release of a 2016 film of the same name, followed by a 2018 and 2024 sequel.
