Originally named as I-68 before later renamed to I-168 a month before the Battle of Midway. She is best known for sinking the crippled aircraft carrier USS Yorktown (Azur Lane)| and the destroyer USS Hammann (azur lane)| in the battle. She was sunk by Scamp (kancolle)| on 27 July 1943 after a solo torpedo duel.
