Her damaged CG is reminiscent of the infamous Myoukou pose (meme)|.
The historical Matsu had a very short career; she was sunk during her first and only battle three months after she was completed by the combined firepower of three Fletcher-class destroyers (USS Cogswell, Ingersoll, and Knapp) on August 4, 1944.
