After Canto 9, her black scabbard is replaced by Renketsuen (e.g.o)|, a white scabbard and Araya's E.G.O with the Japanese words '三生縁分 三千世界 三世因果' ('We are tied across all our lives, all possible worlds, and all possible times' in English) written upon it.
