Character from Spy x Family. Yuri Briar is the younger brother of Yor Briar. While officially a civil servant for the Ostanian Ministry for Foreign Affairs, in truth, he is a member of the State Security Service (SSS), the Ostanian Secret Police, a Stasi-like organization that aims to maintain order in Ostania by surveilling the public and hunting spies and criminals that threaten the country.

Yuri is also notoriously fond of his sister, to the point where Yor's colleagues call him a siscon. He is extremely jealous of Loid Forger for marrying her over a potential suitor he could have picked out for her. To that end, he often tries to get Yor to leave Loid, but his attempts always backfire hilariously. He's equally jealous of his adoptive niece Anya for all the motherly affection Yor showers her with, and often competes with her for Yor's attention.

Contrasting the goofy manchild behavior is a ruthlessly effective and keen-sensed officer capable of interrogating even the toughest of criminals. As a testament to his ability, Yuri skipped high school and went straight to college; he went on to become the youngest second lieutenant in the SSS's history after graduating, at only 20 years old.

Later on, Yuri begins to form genuine friendships with his SSS coworkers. Chloe acts as a corrective influence to Yuri, driving him to a number of (half-)epiphanies that make him reassess his life and outlook. He eventually starts hanging out with his colleagues more.

Yuri shares his sister's black hair and red eyes; his hair is noticeably mid-length with subtle sidelocks. Whenever he's not in his green SSS military uniform and hat, he tends to wear a grey suit with a necktie.

Yuri is voiced by Ono Kenshou in Japanese and Dallas Reid in English.
