It received a communication and rhythm game based spinoff, Idolmaster Million Live! Theater Days, that also introduced two more idols and an assistant.

Bandai Namco Entertainment announced, beginning in December 2017, the original game would be systematically shut down, and service ended March 19 the next year. Theater Days continues to receive updates and support as the main game.
